Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
It gives opportunity to seing "real" life in a foreign country, not only students life. To precise, living in apartment obliged you to think about usual daily things, like shoping, cooking, cleaning etc., not only about studies and exames

I was schoolarship holder of Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, so the campus was covered by this. It was nice typical students rooms for two people quite close to the center of the town.

Own flat is, after all, your own - barring the landlord. Greater freedom, and the feeling that you are a real resident in your new home town.

I got my flat through a good local friend, and was lucky enough to land in a single room. Many Italian students share their rooms with another person, which I could have personally found slightly inconvenient.

The bussola (university) Housing Agency didn't speak English, and finding an appartment was very difficult to begin with. I could have stayed in University Halls of residence, but they required a Health Check which I hadn't realised, so didn't have the necessary paperwork.

Everybody told me it was a nightmare to find a room, but I got one the first day. It was a shared room, but my mate and I became very good friends, so I can say I was very lucky.

REVIEWS BY INTERNS AT Università di Bologna
CURRICULAR INTERNSHIP - Public Administration
The internship primarily involved working on a project related to the assessment of public guarantees and the definition of monitoring tools, with a specific focus on supporting export and internationalization of businesses ("SACE Fund" guarantees) and non- performing loan disposal ("GACS") in correlation with specific national and EU regulatory developments and operational tools.
Una bella esperienza
Esperienza sicuramente formativa e multiculturale. Era un'associazione di volontari, quindi i tempi e le modalità del tirocini ho potuto sceglierli io.
Best internship
My tutor was fantastic! She taught me everything I had to know about a laboratory. The activities have been carried out with zeal. I could learn a lot of things.
Apertura a organizaciones internacionales
Excelente oportunidad de aplicar los conocimientos en Estados Unidos.
ABOUT
The University of Bologna is about to celebrate its Ninth Centenary. The Studium at Bologna is thus the oldest in the western world.

The whole history of European universities has been profoundly influenced throughout the centuries by the University of Bologna. Evidence of this may be seen in the fact that many of the most important universities in Europe were established as a result of internal strife within the University of Bologna, or under the auspices of scholars from this University.
