Sciences Po Strasbourg
Héloïse H
France, Graduate
European Studies, 2022
Overall

Personal recommendation
To have a good social life, you should go to the cafe in the basement and to the parties organized by the business school. Abot the academic life, I cannot say a lot because I was going to a Master program with phd students, so I had different classes than the other Erasmus and Socrates students.

Final comments
Everyone should have an experience abroad, both for academic, cultural and sociloa reasons. Strasborg isn't likely the tipical "Erasumus" partying city, but I had perfect time there anyway.

Most of the teachers were researches so their knowledge were quite limited. Not expensive though and you get to retake subjects when you fail em.

Course recommendations
Master courses from DEA and DESS are affordable even for undergraduate students; a strong accent is put on mathematics in almost every course, but few of them (the most theoretical ones).

Personal comments
A greater use of electronic resources and e-learning support, like in my home university, would improve the quality of teaching a lot and would make it easier for students to have a reference for their studies. It would be also better to introduce a more rigorous use of books.
