You have to make the effort to speak the language as it is v easy to speak your own language with the amount of Erasmus students there.

The accommodation is extremely cheap, about £75 a month, which is equal to a weeks rent in England! Phone is quite expensive over there but i recommend buying a french sim card rather than using an English one.

there are only about two main bars where most students go, on the boulevard, the Gallway, and furthe in town, the Garage. The Garage is slightly larger and more room to sit.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Most Erasmus students appeared to choose apartments, and if i had been there for the whole yr, i would have too. They were relatively cheap, you can claim money back and, in my opinion, safer.

Acc. was cheap and in good location, but the amount of noise at night wasnt controlled and there was only limited lighting around the area at night.
