Overall
The study "Information Engineering" at the University of Konstanz is a very nice field of study, which provides you with a lot of basic knowledge about computer science.
The campus is on the hill in a forest with a view over the lake of Konstanz, so very beautiful.
The teachers and proffesors were friendly and helpful.

Psychology studies at the lake of constance

Germany,
Psychology and Behavioural Sciences, 2023
Overall
Studying at the University of Konstanz is an overall great experience. The campus is not too big, the classes are also quite small, especially when you get into your more advanced studies. Konstanz is a small town, but in summer it is absolutely amazing living there with the lake in arms reach.

Final comments
Take time to speak with your professors. The level of attention they give to their students in Germany is much higher than anything I have ever experienced in Ireland.

Personal comments
I studied German for two years before I studied there. I did not feel at ease in any situation when I arrived. I participated in a month-long language course throughout September that is offered at the University of Konstanz. After this course, I felt confident and really felt integrated into the society a lot more than when I had just arrived. Overall, my language and communication was a huge learning experience. I gained much knowledge about the outside world, as well as another language. It created many new views into my own culture and society as well.
