Personal spending habits
Accomodation was in residence and cheaper than my rent. I was only in Maastricht for a short period and so spent more money going out and travelling than I would have at home to benefit from the experience. Long distance phone calls are more expensive too!

Personal comments
English was the language spoken by all students and so I could communicate with everybody. Was nice to meet native speakers to improve my language skills in areas that are not taught at school.

The Erasmus Student Network students prepare a welcome to all foreign students and show you around. Places you will quickly get the habit of going to are "The Twee Heren" and "Metamorfoos".
