The housing couldn't have been better, however I managed to be the only one from my program that ended up with a 40 year old Vietnamese teacher from another program as a roommate. She was a terrible roommate, never slept at night always studying. It was the worst part of my experience there.

We gave our budget but they couldn't find anything within it so either I had to tak what they offered me or find something on my own. Not knowing the city I decided to go with their offer.

I had private accomodation right in the old city centre, fairly cheap with lots of things to go through. Red lights definitely are an experience...

Feels nicer to be on your own but not in the protective environment of a student housing. Also give better opportunity to focus on your work
