The Irish accent is not very easy to undernstand even if you speak english already. Any way after a while you get use to it! People are nice, they repet and help you learn!

There was no language barrier (aside from colloquial expressions and such), so it was not an issue. I did get a chance to learn basic Modern Irish, though, which was fun.

The irish people are very gentle and they help you when you are talking with them, so they help you a lot in learning english.
