AT FIRST I HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE LOCAL PRONUSIATION, BUT 15 DAYS WERE ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND LOCAL PRONUNSIATION PRETTY WELL. I COULD NOTICED THAT MY ENGLISH IMPROOVED A LOT THERE.

The fac that Sheffield was a cosmopolitan university help students to mix each other. PLus, they have a strong social student association for the foreigners!

I had very few problems while communicating with my fellow British students and other foreign students. If any, everybody was happy to make me understand.

After nine years studying English at School, I didn´t feel comfortable with my skills so I thougth that this time in Sheffield would help. And it did!

Having a conversation in slang, in a busy bar is a lot more difficult than you think. Keep socialising with the Brits, it gets better!
