I would probably recommend to add some more classes for postgraduate students in order to devote more time to main subjects by means of group communication.

If I had to choose again I would go to the University of Sussex. It is very beautiful university with huge library, many computer rooms, shops, bars (on campus!), laundry... Basically there is everything you need.

Academic
Course recommendations
They were pretty good, though the quality could have been a bit better. Moreover I had only two classes per week (it was postgraduate courses and the main part of studying was homework)

I had pretty good English before coming to the University. So I did not experience any difficulties in communication with native speakers. So it was not a decisive factor. My choise mainly was concerned the field of study.

Food, Nightlife, Travel, Telephone, Overall, Housing:
was more expensive than at home.
Accessibility of student needs
Second-hand household items
Personal comments
It is quite difficult to open a bank account for a international student for the first time. And it may be some other problems in the future connected with banks.
Cost-saving tips are different, for example to know cheaper shops, to buy bus saver for a year etc.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
I lived in a very nice on-campus small flat with a kitchen and a bathroom. It was all very clean (though it depends on students themselves) and warm. The kitchen included fridge, stove, kettle, toaster etc... Everything you need for normal living.

The University of Sussex accomodations are quite good with all possible choises such as rooms, houses, family flats etc. They all are situated within the area of the University which is very comfortable for studying. Moreover at the moment the University is building new student residences, though I can not say anything about the quality since these residences are only "half-done".
