It is worth to read law provisions concerning education, work in the host country, in order to have problems in the future.

I would probably recommend to add some more classes for postgraduate students in order to devote more time to main subjects by means of group communication.

If I had to choose again I would go to the University of Sussex. It is very beautiful university with huge library, many computer rooms, shops, bars (on campus!), laundry... Basically there is everything you need.

Overall
Sussex University has a massive campus that breeds a very social and eventful student life. It is surrounded by a beautiful national park that enriches the student experience with lots of sports opportunities, outdoor activities like nature walks, hiking trails, dog walking events and such. A bus ride away is the booming, busy seaside city of Brighton, that makes life in Sussex constantly exciting and spontaneous as you never run out of things to do or people to meet! There also exists student clubs and societies for practically any type of interest or hobby a person could have, from physical sports, to dancing, to gaming, to culture and ethnicities, to food, to photography, to animals and many more.

Academically, Sussex has an environment that pushes you to excel. Most professors and teachers in my course are engaging and always open to helping us learn better. Most professors carry out their own research alongside teaching, hence their scientific knowledge is always fresh and relevant; this has also personally shown me different paths that my dégrée could take me after graduation. Specific to my course, research facilities for students are stellar and there are research centres within the campus itself that can be utilized by students in certain cases. The university also provides so much help with career planning, with regular interactive workshops on everything from CV writing, to job interviews, to futher studies applications, catered to both home and international students.

Get some good money first, especially if you have a girlfriend living abroad. And make sure to do some good studying, for University is not like school, you are independent!

If you have the intentions of going to an Oxford, Cambridge, LSE type of school, don't come here, for your motivation will be trashed by the parties. But if you are looking for a decent place to study with great partying, that is it!

Make sure you take the right choice, for it is hard to transfer. If you have motivation, aim for the best!

Actually I had a lot of information about the place and the university before I going there. Nevertheless I could not expect that it would be one of the best experiences in my life.

My stay at Sussex University has been one of the best experiences in my life. I had the chance to meet people from all over the world with different mentalities and cultures. It made me be more open-minded.

It is a good university for (an undergraduate in) economics, if you have aspirations to go to Oxbridge or LSE for a masters....just get a first ! See comment

It was hard for me to convert my dutch results to english results/marks. As a result I ended up in Sussex, which is not too bad at all. Sussex is a great place to excel and get a first after your initial three years. Because it is a well respected university, your first gives you access to master degrees in Oxbridge or LSE. If this is your goal.... NOTE: people are not really competitive down here...

Plan travels well in advance. Flights are cheaper that way. Save a lot of money before you travel.
