did'nt really have a problem. Yes be careful when the amount of money you can get with your bank card in a week is restricted. I was lucky to be supported quite well by my parents.

Coming from an already expensive country, things did not seem all that much out of price, but for most other countries it will be. Alcohol is ridiculously expensive.

Phone is cheap with Comviq pre-paid cards (provided by university). Buy a bike in order to save on bus cards. Go on cruises in the Baltic Sea to stock up on alcohol.

Pick your student nation carefully! Mine was Ostgota Nationen, I loved to hang out there for fika or at night at the club. Best Cafe is definitly Storken, in the city centre.
