Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more that 3.500 partent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
We are looking for a passionate and motivated apprentice to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of our in-house simulator. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of 5G and 6G RAN technology. Our team specializes in the Layer 1 aspect of the product. Our platform is based on various hardware solutions, including SOC and CPU/GPU architectures. We highly encourage the use of IA tools to enhance our development process.

* Assist senior developers in designing and implementing simulator features.
* Collaborate with the team to understand and meet project requirements.
* Learn and apply best practices in software development and testing.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in 5G and 6G technologies.
* Support the team in maintaining and optimizing the simulator's performance.
* Document and communicate your work effectively within the team.
* Engage in knowledge sharing sessions to enhance your skills.
* Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues.
* Contribute to creating a positive and collaborative team environment

Ihr Profil:

* Enthusiastic and motivated apprentice with a passion for technology.
* Basic understanding of software development principles.
* Familiarity with 5G and 6G RAN concepts is an advantage.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
* Proficiency in programming languages used in the project (e.g., C, C++, Python).
* Basic knowledge of hardware architectures (SoC, CPU, GPU) is preferred.
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
