Job Description:
As a Criminal Law Specialist (m/f/diverse), you will play a key role in strengthening our global compliance framework, ensuring integrity, trust, and legal certainty across all business areas worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Criminal Law & Compliance Expertise
* Act as the central expert for all criminal law-related matters and advise the business on appropriate responses
* Continuously develop and improve the global Compliance Management System with a focus on criminal law
* Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into practical compliance improvements
* Drive global compliance initiatives, including policies, training, communication, and integrity culture
* Support continuous compliance risk analysis and early detection mechanisms in close cooperation with relevant functions
* Build and maintain a strong global compliance network and collaborate closely with the Compliance Central Team
Compliance Case Management
* Design and operate an effective, independent, and confidential compliance case management system
* Act as the key driver in assessing, prioritizing, and assigning incoming reports to the appropriate investigators
* Oversee ongoing investigations and evaluate outcomes and lessons learned
* Strengthen awareness and trust in the global whistleblowing system through training and communication
* Prepare case statistics, trend analyses, and management reporting
* Define and enforce appropriate measures in case of confirmed violations
* Functionally lead the Compliance Case Management team and coordinate key stakeholders worldwide
Qualifications:
* Fully qualified lawyer or legal counsel with relevant professional experience
* Solid knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
* Confident user of MS Office; advanced Excel and Power BI skills are a plus
* Business-fluent German and English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
* Independent working style
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal
* High ethical standards, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility
* Strong intercultural competence combined with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
