About the job
Within Danone Global Research & Innovation, based in the Paris-Saclay, the Global UX team contributes to Danone's overall performance as well as that of local business units by delivering relevant, superior, and distinctive user experiences through products, packaging, and digital touchpoints.
Your mission
At the heart of understanding consumer behaviors, usages and expectations, you lead global UX studies with a strong focus on quantitative research to support decision-making related to product, brand, and experience. You work on high-impact projects in close collaboration with Research & Innovation, Category, and Marketing teams.
At every stage and with every stakeholder, you ensure that the consumer voice remains central and is appropriately considered in decision-making
Your responsibilities
Leading UX research
* Operationally lead quantitative UX studies focused on preference drivers
* Build and manage research plans aligned with product and user challenges, in collaboration with the UX community in the countries
* Design and implement quantitative and/or qualitative research protocols to answer business questions related to consumer behaviors and expectations (scope definition, methodology, fieldwork, analysis)
* Work closely with external research agencies and challenge their recommendations
Analysis & insights
* Analyze and interpret results to generate actionable insights at both global and local levels
* Conduct cross-country and cross-category analyses, as well as deep-dive analyses on specific consumer benefits or themes
* Design clear, educational, and impactful deliverables (presentations, dashboards, executive summaries)
* Formulate concrete recommendations to improve consumer experience
* Enrich analyses by cross-referencing insights generated by other Danone teams (global and local UX teams, sensory analysis teams, marketing, etc.)
Knowledge sharing & innovation
* Occasionally lead exploratory studies beyond existing product categories to fuel the innovation pipeline with consumer value drivers
* Support global and local UX communities-and more broadly other Danone teams-in research methodologies and insight adoption
Your profile
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in UX research / consumer insights, either in a research agency or on the client side
* An experience in food product tests is a plus
* Strong expertise in quantitative methods (questionnaires, statistical analysis)
* Solid UX culture and sensitivity to usage and user experience
* Comfortable with data analysis and storytelling
* Background in behavioral and cognitive sciences is a plus
* Strong interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with multicultural teams and global/local stakeholders
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally, mobilize stakeholders, and drive projects forward
* Excellent listening, synthesis, and communication skills
* Autonomous, rigorous, curious, and impact-driven
