Abbott Rapid Diagnostics - Infectious Disease business is currently recruiting for a Regional Commercial Supply Planner into a regional role (Western and Eastern Europe) who would be based in Abbott House, Maidenhead, Berkshire.
What You'll Do
As a Regional Commercial Supply Planner you will enable stable service performance, protects revenue, and supports business growth by providing accurate supply visibility, proactive communication, and disciplined coordination. In this role you will support the supply operations excellence by embedding data-driven execution, improving visibility, and enhancing agility, while operating fully within the execution, collaboration and coordination scope.
More specifically:
* Coordinate demand and supply, translating commercial forecasts into clear, achievable supply plans while aligning with factories and regional stakeholders.
* Manage end-to-end order execution, from demand confirmation through to on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.
* Monitor risks and constraints, proactively addressing supply shortages, delays, regulatory or quality issues to protect service and revenue.
* Provide actionable insights, maintaining planning and service dashboards and sharing clear weekly updates with commercial and regional leaders.
* Act as a key planning partner, communicating priorities, constraints, and recovery plans across commercial, logistics, distributors, and manufacturing teams.
* Drive continuous improvement, identifying process inefficiencies and supporting supply excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications/Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience in supply planning, demand planning, or commercial Supply Chain execution.
* Strong SAP knowledge and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
* Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
* Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams across EMEA.
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
