We have a fantastic 6 month FTC opportunity as an IT Services Network Manager here at AXA Ireland. Reporting to the Senior IT Services Manager, this role will be responsible for business-driven IT services by managing an IT Technical environment and team to deliver high quality, agile and cost-effective IT services in line with agreed service levels. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home. Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you'll be doing: Managing and motivating an IT technical team, creating a sense of purpose and direction, prioritising and delegating work to meet Unit's objectives, effectively managing performance and identifies training and development needs of team members. Managing IT domains (Telephony infrastructure, Networks, Server Infrastructure, email systems, Citrix Farms and Internet infrastructure ) Ensuring effective oversight of key IT Operations activities in your area for successful delivery of key services & activities. Co-ordinating the successful delivery of IT projects ensuring OTOBOS delivery Ensuring appropriate IT Controls Framework embedded and fully reflecting all key controls in your area. Ensuring clearly defined roles & responsibilities are in place and understood for all staff and systems. Engaging with IT Management and business representative teams to ensure the delivery of a seamless IT service within SLAs and the proactive resolution of operational and strategic issues Ensuring adherence to approved IT processes and policies in the delivery of projects, support and system administration tasks/responsibilities in order to ensure adherence to IT Security, Governance and Control standards. Maintaining a knowledge of IT vendors' services and strategies and build a relationship with key IT suppliers Managing day-to-day IT procurement through capex control, maintenance of order tracking system, order/invoice processing, vendor liaison and financial reporting Providing input to Head of Unit on Strategic Planning, About you: 6 years + IT technical support or engineering experience (essential) 3 yrs + managing IT Technical Services environment and team (essential), ideally in a 500+ seat corporate environment 3rd level qualification in IT discipline, or equivalent experience (essential) ITIL Foundation (essential) Recognised Project Management qualification (desirable) ITIL Practitioner/Master (desirable) This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions
