* Compensation Package: CCNL Industria Alimentare, Impiegato, 2° level, Gross Annual Base Salary EUR48.000,000.
Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring competent industrial services (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing - MEP) management and operation, and to ensure optimal cost, highly efficient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation. i.e. steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and compressed air, as well as electricity, high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage.
A day in the life of the Industrial Services | Utilities Engineer:
* Utility Distribution Systems:
Steam distribution, Condensate recovery, Compressed air distribution, Chilled water distribution, Cooling waste, Process water, Potable water, Hot water, HVAC utility interfaces, Natural gas distribution systems, Utility pipe bridges and underground utility networks, Utility metering systems, Utility monitoring systems, Fire protection systems
* Engineering & Design:
Review utility system designs and deliverables. Ensure utility distribution networks meet process and build requirements. Review P&IDs, layouts, technical specifications, calculations and contractor submissions. Participate in design reviews and constructability reviews. Ensure compliance with Nestlé Engineering Standards and local regulations.
* Construction Support:
Coordinate utility installation activities with contractors and suppliers. Support construction planning and sequencing. Resolve technical issues arising during construction. Verify installation quality and compliance with approved designs. Participate in inspections and punch-list management. Monitor construction progress against project milestones.
* Commissioning & Start-Up:
Prepare and execute commissioning plans for utility distribution systems. Coordinate flushing and performance testing. Support utility system start-up and troubleshooting. Verify system performance against design requirements. Participate on SAT, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure all utility systems are operational
* Safety & Compliance:
Promote safe design and construction practices. Support permit-to-work and contractor safety programs. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Ensure utility systems meet food safety and hygienic design requirements.
What will make you successful?
* For factories with large built-up distributed ammonia plants (Ice Cream, Frozen Food or Freeze Drying, industrial refrigeration background and ammonia experience is required
* Experience operating or supervising others who operate heating pressure systems (gas boilers) or other large combustion systems (steam, hot water)
* Experience in P&ID (piping instrumentation diagram)
* Experience in industrial plants: AHU, chillers, fire protection systems, water and steam generation, water treatment, BMS and electrical equipment.
* Fluency in Italian and English is required.
