A day in the life
You start the day reviewing prior-day performance across core KPIs (OTD, CPT adherence, backlog, defect rate, productivity), identifying gaps vs. target and any emerging risks.
You join the daily ops sync to provide metric updates, highlight issues, and align on immediate corrective actions with Ops and 3PB partners.
Throughout the day, you track action plans, follow up with owners on open items, and validate that commitments are progressing according to ETA.
If performance trends negatively (e.g., recurring misses or multiple metrics out of range), you support a structured dive deep to identify root causes and document clear next steps.
You close the day updating trackers, ensuring visibility of risks, and preparing insights for the next performance review.
