About the Role
Christian Dior Australia & New Zealand is seeking a motivated, organised, and detail-oriented Retail Operations Intern to join the Retail Operations team. This is a paid internship designed to provide hands-on exposure to the day-to-day coordination and administration of retail operations within a luxury environment.
Working closely with the Retail Operations team and key boutique stakeholders, the Retail Operations Intern will support a range of operational, administrative, and analytical activities across boutiques, warehouse/logistics coordination, and the retail office. The role is intended as a developmental opportunity for an early-career candidate looking to build practical experience in retail operations, customer service support, logistics coordination, digital tools, and boutique administration.
This role is a support position and does not include people management or direct ownership of market-wide operational functions.
Reporting Line
The Retail Operations Intern reports to the Retail Operations Manager.
Store Projects & Operational Coordination Provide administrative support for store projects and operational initiatives. Assist with procurement administration, vendor setup, document preparation, and follow-up activities. Support the coordination of operational requirements for store openings, events, pop-ups, relocations, refurbishments, or other retail projects as required. Assist with operational setup/defit and bump-in/bump-out support, including coordination of materials, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Help track project actions and maintain organised records to support timely execution. Stock & Inventory Support Assist with stock-related administrative tasks, including tracking deliveries, transfers, and inventory flow documentation. Support boutiques and the Retail Operations team with stock coordination tasks as required. Help maintain accurate records and ensure timely follow-up on operational stock matters. Compliance & General Administration Support the team in maintaining organised records and documentation in line with internal procedures. Assist with health and safety, process, and internal control administration where required. Ensure a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality in all tasks. Undertake other ad hoc duties as reasonably required to support the Retail Operations function. Candidate Profile Education Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Business, Business Management, Retail, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related discipline. Experience Previous internship, retail, administrative, or customer service, or logistics experience is advantageous but not essential. Strong interest in retail operations and the luxury retail environment. Skills & Competencies Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving capability. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Professional, polished, and service-oriented approach. What This Role Is Designed to Offer Practical exposure to retail operations within a leading luxury brand.
