About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability & GHG Accounting Intern to support projects related to greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, emissions inventory preparation, ESG reporting, and sustainability disclosures.

The selected candidate will primarily work on Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions data management, including data collection, verification, validation, and emissions calculations. The role will also provide exposure to BRSR, ESG, and sustainability reporting assignments across industries.

Freshers with relevant knowledge, strong analytical skills, and interest in sustainability and climate-related work are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collect, organize, verify, and validate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data.
2. Support preparation of GHG inventories and emissions calculations.
3. Assist in data analysis and preparation of sustainability and ESG reports.
4. Work on BRSR and other sustainability reporting projects.
5. Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders for data collection and clarification.
6. Maintain project trackers, datasets, calculations, and documentation.
Conduct research on sustainability frameworks, emission factors, and ESG regulations.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree (or pursuing) in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Management, Energy, or related fields.
2. Basic understanding of GHG Accounting, ESG, and sustainability concepts.
3. Familiarity with Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions will be an added advantage.
4. Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
6. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
