We are looking for an exceptional student with hardware and software background who will join the PESG department and help to create cutting edge software tools, flows and EDA solutions for CPU design.

What You'll Do
* Participate in the development of cutting-edge design implementation solutions and workflows.
* Integrating AI and machine learning for layout optimization and automated design processes
* Develop verification flow to identify any modelling gaps and risk that might cause silicon escapees.
* Partners with the Semiconductor, IP and EDA eco-systems to develop and integrate latest chip development technologies, including AI/ML-powered design tools
* Collaborate with Intel design teams, product managers and software engineers to deliver cutting edge CPU design environment
* Be part of an agile team, working on challenging assignments that blend traditional EDA expertise with modern AI capabilities

Qualifications:
* B.Sc. student in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with at least 4 semesters remaining.
* Knowledge of software development - advantage for experience with Python and TCL.
* Knowledge of hardware development - advantage for experience with industry design implementation and timing verification tools.
* Experience working in a Linux environment - an advantage.
