Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Measurement Room Intern to support our quality control department. This role involves assisting with the inspection and measurement of automotive parts, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in performing dimensional inspections of automotive components using various measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
* Document measurement results accurately and maintain detailed records.
* Support the setup and operation of measurement equipment.
* Help identify and report deviations from specifications.
* Participate in the calibration and verification of measurement tools.
* Assist with data analysis and the generation of quality reports.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
* Maintain a clean and organized measurement room environment.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a technical degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Quality Control, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of metrology principles and measurement techniques.
* Familiarity with common measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
