About Global Payment The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. The data intelligence team of global payment focuses on data and algorithm work. The payment and financial business are all data/intelligence driven businesses, which means that driving business through data capabilities, data services, data mining and data analysis is one of our first final missions, and another mission is to build intelligence payment and financial services based on algorithm in efficiency and effective way. We work on vertical domains like promotion (growth), risk control, compliance and also industrial solutions like global e-commerce, advertising, live, local services, etc. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Successful candidates must be able to commit to either of the following Internships - From January to June (onboard by 12 Jan 2026) - From May to August (onboard by 11 May 2026) Responsibilities - Participate in the construction of the indicator system for international payment businesses, clearly and comprehensively depict the current situation of the business, and provide key data support for business development. - Maintain sensitivity to data and curiosity about changes in indicators. Through rigorous quantitative analysis, interpret data phenomena to support business decision-making. - Stay close to the business. When there are product or strategy iterations, support A/B testing. Be able to thoroughly investigate experimental performance, clearly attribute the rises and falls of indicators, and help the business identify the direction of iteration. - Immerse deeply in business. Instead of being confined to data requirements, be able to use a reasonable analytical framework and data mining techniques to generate data insights and put forward suggestions for strategy iteration. - Under the one-on-one mentoring of a Mentor, in the process of supporting business development, be good at thinking and summarizing, and accumulate analysis methods and data-efficiency tools

Ihr Profil:

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, statistics, or mathematics - Proficient in using statistical analysis tools such as SQL and Python. Have a good grasp of the principles of mathematical statistics and A/B testing. Be familiar with analysis methods such as causal inference and logistic regression. - Possess strong learning and self - motivation abilities, with a strong thirst for knowledge and enterprising spirit. Excellent in communication, expression, and logical thinking, and have sharp data insight. Be willing to think, and be rigorous and meticulous. Preferred Qualification: - Those with relevant data analysis internship experience and business experience in fields such as payment, finance, and credit will be given priority.
