Summary

At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city's newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for passionate, motivated, and service-driven students to join our Culinary Internship Program. If you are eager to develop your culinary skills while understanding how kitchen operations support a world-class luxury hotel, this internship is a unique opportunity to grow alongside our Culinary team.
The Culinary Trainee plays an essential role in the daily execution of kitchen operations, supporting food preparation, service delivery, and consistency across outlets while upholding the highest quality and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

* Assist in food preparation, mise en place, and execution of dishes across different kitchen areas
* Support daily kitchen operations during breakfast, banquets, restaurants, room service, and special events
* Ensure compliance with quality standards, hygiene regulations, and food safety procedures (HACCP)
* Contribute to the presentation, creativity, and consistency of dishes under the Chef's guidance
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper use of kitchen equipment and workstations
* Collaborate with F&B Service, Events, and other operational departments to ensure an excellent guest experience
* Support administrative and operational tasks related to kitchen organization and coordination

Who You Are

* Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Gastronomy, or related studies student
(able to sign a university internship agreement)
* Passionate about culinary arts and eager to learn in a luxury hotel environment
* Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
* Fluent in Spanish; English is a plus
* Available for a minimum of 5 months, starting in September
* Eligible for internships in Spain/EU
