Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
In general, the cost of living is reasonably cheap, my apartment was quite big so I had to pay a little more than many others. Also, there are enough apartments for exchange students so they will find a place to stay easily even though they would have to search for it independently

There was no on-campus housing but were many privately-run dormatories. There are many local families who host students year after year. There are also many apartments close to the school.

It was great because I got to live with other exchange students and really helped me learn about the different cultures in Europe, not just the French culture. It was great!

Housing

Why?
It's fun to live in the residence because the common kitchen is so lively at dinnertime and you meet a lot of other people outside your school, coming from different countries. But next time I want to experience a more independent living arrangement with my own kitchen, washroom, etc. but preferably with one or two other person.

Some landlords allow a week of settling in before you sign the contract, like in our residence, so don't say yes immediately or you might not be able to change if you realize that don't like the place after a few days.

The price is very cheap. But have to share bathroom and kitchen. Students living there were friendly.
