The university is one of the best to study in Czech Republic
Morine A
Czech Republic,
Food Science and Technology, 2024
Overall
The courses studied are in direct relation to the study program. They have well qualified teachers who are able to blend theory with practical through excursions use of the processing units on campus. The teachers and students are ver interactive with very low level of discrimination. The international relations office plays a very big role in resolving issues involving international students. The presence of a food processing units like the brewery makes lessons more practical. The classrooms are very conducive for learning as there are few students per session. The university has the  greenest campus in Czech Republic with a very calm and conducive environment for studies. Career advancement is highly encouraged through career fairs, whereby companies are invited to coach the students. There is also the availability of Erasmus studies where students can  study in another university out of Czech Republic.

Careers
It is possible to apply for internship during active studies and student status. Graduation internships can be realized until 12months after successful study. The students search for internship on their own and the selection procedures are announced on the faculty website and Facebook, and the students are informed via email. The student may ask the faculty Erasmus internship coordinator for available offers, but the student has to be proactive in finding a placement.

Perhaps if the courses would have been arranged like they said before the semester started I would have gained more study credits.

It is a specialised university so if they offer courses in english in those specialised fields then you will get a lot out of it. You also have to be really active (which i wasnt) in finding information if you could take some courses individually.

Although the students residence's conditions were not perfect, my personal opinion is that is much better to the international students stay there, they will enjoy more the international and local environment. While I was there I travelled on weekends and holidays to other cities of Czech Republic, to Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary. Do not waste the opportunity to know the east european culture, is really fascinating.
