Perfectly fine university
Theresa E

Business Studies, 2020
Overall
There is a big variety in courses and a lot of freedom to choose. Courses are of decent quality. Most professors are very fair. Big student body, so a bit anonymous. Outdated facilities and neverending renovations.

Personal recommendation
I stayed there for the summer semester and that was beautiful and full of action. Winter may not be that busy, but there are lots of fun stuff going on in the winter too (e.g Christmas market)

Final comments
Prag is a must once you are there. Deutsche Bahn (German railways) has special inexpensive tickets for groups for certain times, certain areas etc. Ask for e.g Schönes Wochenend Ticket, Bayern Ticket, Guten Abend Ticket. HIGHLY recommendable if you want to travel by train. Make sure you also ask for Mitfahrtzentrale from your new German friends. Through that you may find a spot on someone's car and go from one big city to another very economically! Have fun :)

Personal comments
Cinema was the only thing more expensive than at home. Razors etc were similarly priced. Shop at aldi or norma, but handelhof has more choice. MAke friends with someone who has a car. Don't buy a bike at auction. avoid Galeria Kaufhaus, the food shop is dismal. sales are great in nurnberg.
