Dont miss the Medival Pub, near Cours Leopold, a laid back Irish place with good music, good beer, and a unique atmosphere.
Up for live music? Try The Barnum (near the train station) for Jazz-blues, Cafe des brasseurs for hard rock(near the market).
For Dancing - Cave de Roi, Circus, St Epvre

Check out Blitz café, just of rue St.Nicolas. On the place de marché there was a nice place that made their own beer, Brasseurs. And then there was Les Artistes at rue Stanislas. And an Irish pub, Medieval in the Old Town area.
Don't miss taking a trip over to Strasbourg. Its not far and a really beautiful town.
And there's a movie theatre that is quite cheap, and features un-dubbed films. Cameo it's called.

At the Stanislas place there are good cafes. There is a latin cafe where you can eat spanish tapas. The theatre is very pretty.
