Finnish is quite hard to lear. Another "bad" thing is that almoust everybody speaks english here in Finland so it's a little difficult to practice finnish.

not all finns know to speak english! ;-) ... so i had to learn finnish quiet fast - was difficult without a language course but a very good experience ...

Finnish people are to shy to speak english but for only 3 month it does not make sense for me to learn finnish.It is to complicated

Almost everyone in Finland speaks at least basic English. If you try to speak Finnish to a local you will usually get a reply in English. Not easy to learn the language but you dont really need to !

Finnish was not my aim when I came here but just to improve my English and I think that it is quite better now so no regrets.

A lot of people speak english so you can communicate. The Finish language is very difficult and people there said dont do it.
