In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
First, email the professors before the semester starts to get inscribed in the subjects you want.Secondly, pay attention and take good care about ur housing coordinators, otherwise you can arrive there and do not have anywhere where to stay. Finally, do not go there without knowing anything at all from the local language.

Travel by "Mitfahrgelegenheit.de" instead of using "DieBahn.de" because its very expensive. Finally, pay attention about the points i mentioned in the previous question, so that you wont have nay surprises during the stay there.

From my point of view my overall language and communication experience was very good, because i did not only speak and exercise written and spoken german with the local students + boyfriend, but also the assignments and thesis that i did during both semesters contributed to my better and more experienced communication skills.

Housing
Type of housing: Student Hall
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Student Hall
Why?
I would never chanGe. Student Hall are Great to meet other students and to improve your lanGuaGe.You never feel alone, you have always company and it is always funn to know students from different nationalities. I have nothinG to complain. My residence was clean and we divided the house tasks. The residence always made activities to join the students, in the Bar or simply to have a lunch in the Garden of our Student Hall. Great to live with students, you share your experiences is super.

“Alles super!”

Overall

I wish I would have discovered the proximity of Cologne a lot sooner! I would have spent much more time there than in Bonn.

It's a fine choice, but there are better universities in Germany to choose. I was there for a Bundestag fellowship and didn't have a choice.

The Bouvier bookshop might be one of the nicer bookstores in Germany. Very nice. And the closer you live to the city center, the better. The frequency of public transport gets a bit spotty at night.
