Housing
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Living with a host family has its benefits but it is also nice to live in how you wish, for example being able to cook your own meals.

The housing was not affiliated with the host university, but with my home university. Living with a family was a good experience, especially for my first time abroad.

If you fancy funky and house music do not miss a night out in Afrodisia!Super cool! For some more pop and hip hop go to Camborio, facing the Alahambra...the view is awesome and so romantic! On Sundays chill out in the teterias in the Albaycin, wide range of teas and food from Marocco. Best tapas in Bar Castaneda in Calle Elvira, so tasty and so cheap!! Very good beer at the taberna Iralendesa..an Irish touch in Espana...

La Tertulia - an amazing local bar with frequent events - music performances, public readings of local authors, tango nights
Mirador de San Nicolas - place with the most amazing vista over the city, located in the old city quarter Albaicin, every day full of flamenco singers and guitar players and with the breath-taking view over Alhambra, it was my favorite place to go to, sit down, read or just enjoy the atmosphere.

Academic

For Marketing students it is important to note that mathematics is often included in these courses. At my home university this was not the case!

Better communication between students and tutors. Maybe more consideration for ERASMUS students by remembering that Spanish is not their first language
