I would deffinately choose an appartment again as it gives you total freedom and independance to come and go as you please. Given the partying times you don't want to be locked out of Uni accomodation at 7am in the morning! Also if you get friendly with the neighbours you can practice your Spanish and get free meals.

I didn't stay at the Uni but some friends did and were not too impressed. Food apparently was very good but they didn't like the strict regime, it was alittle out of the way and you had no choice with whom you shared.

Why?
One has the opportunity to live with people that speak the foreign language,which makes it easier to learn as people can correct you. Furthermore, one has the chance to get to know people much easier. Usually people who have already lived in the city know the places to go and have usefull tips and tricks. Also, if one is lucky and gets to share the flat with locals it is much easier to make local friends, to pick up phrases and to identify oneself with the culture in the foreign country.

I had an opportunity to share a flat with 2 other international students. We all supported eachother in learning the language. There was plenty of room, and the location was geart, so that we had a chance to sea the day to day life of Malaga and explore the Spanish culture.

Although, the Universuty wasn't very helpful in finding a housing, but it was no problem, since Malaga is very well prepared for internatonal students and there are plenty of flats for rent.

the university gave me a list of appartments ordered by the neighborhood. the only problem is, that this list does not seem to be updated on a regularly basis. since i lived in a house of exchange students and other foreigners the price/quality relation was no good one. but the atmosphere kept me there!

I felt it was important to immerse myself in doing business and taking on responsibilities in the manner or my host country. Living in an appartment with a friend also gave me a greater chance to meet and interact with students like myself from all around the world.

The university could help the students more with the aprtment because many people had problems with finding a flat. I myself was quite happy with my flat and I found it quickly.
I was in charge of both financial problems and advising clients on the entity's financial products.
I was involved in the processes of sales and contracting of insurance, loans or mortgages among other things.

Realicé mis prácticas en una empresa dedicada a la soluciones informáticas.
Nuestro "jefe" no sabía de comunicación
Aunque en general estoy contenta por haber tenido la oportunidad de hacer estas prácticas, no me resultaron tan provechosas como esperaba.
Había más de 50 estudiantes en prácticas a la vez, siendo esta una empresa no demasiado grande. Nuestra labor era la de realizar un etalent a través de la plataforma propia de la empresa y recaudar dinero para una causa benéfica, y el encargado de dirigirnos solo daba como único consejo el apelar indistintamente a la mayor cantidad de gente posible, sin importar si encajaban en el target del mismo o no. Ni yo ni ningún otro estudiante estaba satisfecho con sus críticas ni con su actitud hacia nosotros.
Además, la plataforma con la que teníamos que trabajar estaba MUY mal organizada, daba poca confianza a los participantes y daba bastantes errores.
