Everybody loved it, you will too!
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Ca' Foscari is the cambridge of Italy. The Uni is top class and if you are looking at studying in Italy try venice as the study and the culture will stay with you forever! :)

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
Trains are very cheap from venice, and since it is also a touristic city the airport flies everywhere. There is a good hospital (for emergencies) and there are embassies and consulates everywhere. If ever there is a problem you can go into your country's consulate and they will help..in your own languages! that is good about venice.

Course recommendations
Especially for my field of studies, American Literature, resources were hard ly available. Access to libraries and Internet is stricly limited in time.

Personal comments
Exchange between faculties seems rather rare as all faculties are in different locations. Same applies for libraries, so that interdisciplinary work becomes rather difficult

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I would try to find housing in the city center at a private place somewhere. In the student house, there were a lot (too many) of strict rules.

Personal comments
The student house was a good place to live. A bit too many rules and regulations, but not too expensive and very well cleaned. It was a new building and things were arranged well.

“GREAT UNIVERSITY WITH INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS”
Gaia T
Italy, Graduate
Business Studies, 2017
Overall
I was a non-attending students, due to my job committments. However, I can say that the teachers and student support have always been at hand and available to help me out whenever necessary.
I had no problem passing the exams, as the program and related material is always provided online.
I spent a semester abroad with the university's exchange program (Russia) and even in this case they proved to be very well organized and kept regular contact with me while abroad.

Expenses
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant
Other sources of funding:
Family
Personal savings
Work opportunities:
I worked, but it was illegal/cash in hand work
Personal spending habits
Housine in Venice is generally very expensive but we shared a small apartment which cut down our costs.
There is not much of a nightlife in Venice so we always organised parties amongst ourselves and buying fresh one when you bring your bottle is so much cheaper than buying beer or any other drink.
