The Italian language was very easy to learn as people in general are very communicative and really care about the foreign students. My language skills improved tremedously during my stay in Italy.

Took courses in Italian but it was difficult to understand everything that was being said. The professor had no ohter notes than her own and it was impossible to make up a lecture if you missed one.
