I wish I had known...
The school system is based entirely on learning by heart, e.g. if you're like me and you like to make your own critical analysis, this might not be the university (or country!) for you.

Personal recommendation
The university is among the best public universities in France because of its strong analytical/math focus. That said, it's still very much based on learning by heart in a number of courses, which can get annoying if you are used to engaging in critical thinking of your own.

Toulouse is a beautiful city with very warm, friendly people - i.e. not at all like the arrogant, cold Parisans! The climate is nice and warm, and the location is absolutely perfect: Toulouse is situated at a cross section between the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, and the Pyrenees, giving you access to everything you could possibly dream of!

Program of the Toulouse Capitole University (Мaster’s degree in International Economic Law)
Vera N
France, Graduate
Law, International, 2022
Overall
The main advantage of the university is practicing professors who can share their professional experience, that is a great opportunity to meet and listen to professionals with in-depth knowledge and practical skills.
Program of the Toulouse Capitole University (Мaster’s degree in International Economic Law) is an extraordinarily exciting course for me. This program is letting me internalize main issues of International Economic law and there I would develop my knowledge and understanding with key  subjects that I have never studied before, for instance, Internal Market, International Dispute Resolution, Intellectual and Industrial Property that are not provided at any university. Furthermore,
program has a separate course focused on practicing of legal (intensive) French, which would help me to enhance my knowledge on a professional level and develop public speaking skills.
In my opinion, the best feature about this program that sets it apart from the others is the practical training workshops
that students could have at these classes.

Travel a lot, but also enjoy the city where you are living. Also do turistic activities because at the end you are. Open a bank account that does not charge your when you close it.

Toulouse School of Economics: Excellente Formation
CLEMENCE D
France, Graduate
Statistics, 2018
Overall
