it is really a great experience as i am taking classes with french and am expected to know as much as they do. Frankly, it's much better than an Erasmus program where there are foreigners just like you in a class. I doubt a lot about "high progress" in your language profficiency in this situation.

I have a natural talent for foreign languages so I picked up the language pretty fast, also because I was around a lot of native speakers through my job. The other international students have more difficulties in interaction with real french people other than a university setting.

First of all, it is important to say that all people I met in my host country and university were very helpful. They always tried to explain every little language problem. They taught me how to "think like the French". That is why now I speak French fluently.

In the begining I had some problems with administration, because in French a lot of peoples don't know english. After some time, when I started to speak french, I hadn't any problems.
