Cafe Opera for nice atmosphere, Dr. Livingstone's for a CHEAP happy hour drink (25 NOK 7-9PM), Det Lille Kaffe Companiet for good coffee and the Kebab shop near Mr. Bean for cheap eats!

I voluntereed in a student associativ cafe which was a really good place to go out: Det akademiske Kvarteret. Most of the time, social events took place at students' places.
