I wanted to meet new people while I was in Sweden, so I spent more time at pubs and cafes than I do in Colorado. I spent more on travelling because it's affordable in Sweden, so I jumped on a night ferry or plane as often as I could!

Personal comments
I had to visit the emergency room in Uppsala and I couldn't get any care until I paid 500 krona. If I'd been an EU citizen, I would have had better access.

I was very pleased the university offered an evening language course for exchange students. However, I wish the exam schedule would deviate from that of other courses, so we could take several quizzes and tests throughout the semester.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?
I enjoyed living in a flat, but I feel I could have learned more about the culture and developed my language skills more if I had been living with a family.
