Stockholm's Nation Rules! In Uppsala, each region of Sweden has a nation house and the Swedes from that region join their nation. As an exchange student, I joined which ever nation I wanted, so I chose Stockholm's. Each nation has parties and the parties at Stockholm's on Thursdays were amazing!

The apartment provided by the university is perfect for student, especially for international student.
Sweden's generally not as cold as everyone thinks, so I didn't need to bring so many sweaters.

As far as social life goes, it would be better to know Swedish. However I had to trouble communicating with people. The most of Swedes speak very good English.
