Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn?
Group Functions Change is a great place to kick-start your career and learn how change works in a large organisation. As an apprentice, you'll support projects across L&G's central functions - including Finance, HR, Risk, Technology, Procurement and Corporate Services - gaining insight into how different teams work together and learning how meaningful change happens at scale to improve the business.
This role is based primarily in our Hove office, where you'll work closely with friendly and supportive colleagues, learn on the job, and take part in regular face-to-face collaboration. You'll be encouraged to ask questions and build new skills all whilst developing practical experience, working with people from across the wider organisation.
Your role at a glance:
You'll learn on the job with the support of experienced Business Analysts while completing your Level 4 Business Analyst apprenticeship. In this role, you will:
* Support the planning and facilitation of workshops to gather and analyse business requirements
* Produce clear, high-quality documentation in line with agreed standards
* Learn to document 'as is' and 'to be' business processes
* Collaborate with project team members, including Project Managers, Testers and Architects
Who we're looking for:
We're not expecting prior industry experience, but we'll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly. Capabilities include:
* Curiosity and a strong desire to learn
* An analytical mindset with keen problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A flexible, collaborative team player
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or keen to develop these skills
To qualify for the programme, you will need:
* GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or equivalent
* Minimum 96 UCAS points from your Level 3 Qualifications i.e. A 'levels or equivalent
* To not currently be on a government funded training course, e.g. on apprenticeship
* To not hold a similar qualification at the same level or above
* The right to work in the UK and have lived in the UK for the past 3 consecutive years.
Please note we only accept one application per recruitment cycle for our apprenticeship roles so please consider all placement positions before applying, as your first application will be considered your only application.
This role is due to start September 2026. We recruit on a rolling basis and expect this vacancy to close before the deadline. To be in with the best chance of securing a role, please submit your application ASAP.
