Contributes to the design, development, and verification of Point of Care Ultrasound products and systems.
Responsible for supporting enhancements to existing products and components by identifying issues, implementing improvements, and validating performance.
Works collaboratively within the team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring high quality deliverables that meet defined requirements and timelines.
Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- 2nd year Medical student or higher
- Advantage: experience in the Engineering/Technology and Testing within product life cycle.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Execute laboratory and field validation testing, including test setup, data acquisition, clinical review of datasets and analysis to support product design and verification.
* Design and develop test environments, including test setups, instrumentation systems, and supporting test software.
* Identify issues, analyze results, and contribute to improvements in product performance, reliability, and quality.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between testing activities and product requirements.
* Apply and continuously expand technical knowledge within the domain to effectively perform assigned tasks and support team objectives.
* Follow established engineering processes and standards while taking ownership of task execution and deliverables.
* Work with some autonomy to resolve technical issues within established procedures Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
* Communicate technical and clinical information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
* Collaborate and communicate with the team and potentially leads a junior team if needed.
* Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Healthcare.
