The Difference You Make:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting the travel and procurement departments. You will focus on learning how our organization runs by.
* Assisting in the implementation of Travel workflows to ensure compliance with the new approval process and internal control requirements.
* Assisting in the analysis and update of Other Lodging rates for the June 2026-June 2027 period, assessing their impact on travel and expense policies.
* Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of the 360 Workspace - Travel platform, ensuring financial and operational information remains accurate and up to date.
* Assisting with the analysis and maintenance of Expense Types, helping ensure correct mapping to General Ledger (GL) accounts in alignment with SHUSA accounting standards.
* Supporting the review and validation of expense postings in SAP Concur Expense, helping to identify discrepancies and recommending process improvements.
* Assisting in analyzing expense data and preparing financial reports to support reconciliations, financial controls, and business decision-making.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related fields.

Qualifications:
* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate.
* Willing to learn and get hands-on experience.
* Attention to detail and follow through.
* Dedication to the team's success.
