As an HR Technology & AI Specialist, you will sit at the crossroads of technology, data, and people, driving the design, implementation, and scaling of advanced AI-enabled IT systems within the People & Culture department. From AI-powered HR chatbots to payroll platforms and employee file management systems, you will lead multiple HR technology initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.

This is not a traditional IT role-it's about applying your technical expertise to solve HR challenges, working closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to create scalable, robust, and compliant solutions. No prior HR experience is required, but a strong ability and willingness to quickly develop expertise in HR concepts and processes is essential.

Your Responsibilities:

* Lead HR Technology Projects: Drive the design, implementation, and scaling of AI-powered HR solutions, including chatbots, payroll systems, document management platforms, and learning tools.
* Translate Business Needs: Work closely with HR and stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable, compliant technical solutions.
* Ensure System Compliance: Guarantee all HR systems meet internal standards, data quality requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Act as the key integrator between HR, IT, Finance, Legal, external vendors, and group functions to align priorities and ensure smooth project execution.
* Manage Projects End-to-End: Own initiatives from concept to delivery, applying structured project management methodologies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
* Oversee System Dependencies: Manage integration and dependencies across platforms like payroll, HRIS, AI tools, and data layers to ensure seamless operations.
* Apply Technical Expertise: Use tools such as Python, Power Automate, and AI Builder to prototype solutions, validate data flows, and apply Large Language Models (LLMs) to HR use cases.
* Communicate Progress: Provide clear and compelling updates to senior management and the Board on project progress, budget forecasts, risks, and benefits realization.
* Drive Innovation: Continuously scout and assess emerging technologies in AI, automation, and analytics to enhance HR processes and systems.
* Develop HR Expertise: Quickly build knowledge in HR-specific domains like payroll, employee data, and talent processes to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Your Profile:

You are a highly analytical and technically skilled professional with a passion for applying technology to solve complex challenges. You have strong hands-on experience with Python, Power Automate, and AI Builder, as well as practical knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs). Your ability to bridge technical design with business decision-making sets you apart, and you thrive in multi-stakeholder environments. You hold a Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field and have a solid understanding of systems engineering concepts. Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels are essential. While no prior HR experience is required, you are eager to learn and adapt to HR-specific processes and constraints. Fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch and/or French are required.
