I tried to study danish but it's really difficult to learn it in 6 months. Anyway teachers was really great to teach in english when there were exchange students in tyhe classroom. Almost everyone in Denmark speak a good english, so was easy to learn it.

If you don't have the opportunity to go to England or to the USA to learn English, Denmark is another option to learn English because the Danes speak it very well. I remembered a student coming from Canada said that she has chosen Denmark because it's where people speak well English in Europe, apart UK. The Danes speak it fluently and without any Danish accent and television programmes are always in an original version(mostly in English) and subtitled.

In Language and communication, I hadn't any problem because danish people speak english fluently, and they don't have problem to interact with you in it. I try to learn danish to buy some things at supermarket, some adresses or days of the week and numbers. But It is not necessary to speak danish to live in Denmark , in fact, there are a lot of foreign people there.
