I am a student in World Culture and Business. I have chosen to focus on German studies, therefore, I came to Germany for my study abroad experience. I had only studied German for one year before I went to Germany. When I first came in July, I participated in a month long intensive language course in Eichstaett, Germany. I believe this helped me prepare for Aachen. By the time I made it to Aachen, I already had a feel for the German culture. I was very much at ease with everyday life in Germany. I had alread traveled and used my knowledge of the German language. I believe that my experiences in class and simply out in everyday life have greatly increased my interests in the German language and culture. I have really enjoyed my experience here, and I only want to learn more and keep furthering my German studies.
