Belle ville, belle région, bonne école

Overall

Try to inegrate as soon as you can in your new life. Make new friends soon and life in Marseille will be a lot more pleasant. Marseille has an airport nearby where you can take cheap flights to lots of destinations around Europe. But also close to Marseille there are lots of beautiful cities which are worth a daytrip

IBBA program

I entered Kedge Business School with the IBBA program. This choice was made thanks to the international experience proposed. Indeed, the first year, done in 2 semester, is in your home university, for my part in Marseille, France. During the second year, the first semester is again made in your uni but then you have to make a 6 months internship as second semester. I decided to go in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Then you have to go for an exchange year in a partner university, I went to Moscow in Russia. For the final year you have to move again for a semester abroad and finish with an internship overseas. I am about to start my final year where I'll go to Casablanca for the semester and I am currently looking for what will be my internship starting from January.
This Programm permit me to travel a lot and discover about several cultures and way of life. It also gives me contacts and teach me autonomy.

The Estudines next to the University are much more recommended compared to Alotra residence. Maybe Alotra is good at staying at for the first month to get integrated.

The bureaucracy in France is TERRIBLE. To put money into your account in Credit Lyonnais you have to go to the specific branch where you opened your account! If it is Tuesday you cannot book a new movie for Wednesday because they dont know the timetables and rooms YET (Gaumont Paris)! In the metro there are no elevators. For the formalities concerning university and prefecture you have to double check the progress of the procedures!

more information about the courses before more information about the city, where to live etc., because the school is not in the center, but except from school everything happens in the center! Best place to live: near place de la victoire, or between place de la victoire and place gambetta!

If there are different teachers for one course, it would be better if their topics are more adjusted to each other! It sometimes seems like they don´t know what the other teacher had thaught the students during the lessons before.

Bordeaux = great spot of france! Get to the beach as much as possible, above all to Lacanau and Cap Ferret. (Arcachon is more appropriate for old people and children as there are no high waves)
