I was allocated a place in a shared flat, this was a good way to meet other students and have the opportunity to practice my language more. All housing on campus is near to public transportation and shopping facilities. Most university accomodation on campus is shared accomodation although there are a few single flats available.

Living on campus is a good way to make new friends. There are many facilities, which are suitable for students and cost less.

At first, I wanted to rent a house, so that I could be alone. I was told in he host university that it could be better to live with other students in an appartment. I trusted them and I am not regreting it. I had everything I wanted near me (gym, low-price cafeterias and restaurants, library etc.).

While appreciative of the social networking opportunities in a student dorm, at 25 years old, I desire my own place with more privacy.

It was near to both the university and the train station. I had the opportunity to meet people of many different nationalities and cultures.

While the accommodation was quite old fashioned at the time, it served it's purpose was very cost effective and near to all amenities. ie. supermarket, university, sports centre, publin transport etc etc
