Are you passionate about driving operational excellence in a dynamic, international production environment? As a Production Merchandiser (m/f/d) at HUGO BOSS, you will take end-to-end responsibility for our production processes - from order placement to delivery - while acting as a key link between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics partners. In this role, you will ensure on-time, high-quality execution, maintain close relationships with our tier-1 suppliers, and continuously optimize processes with a strong focus on digitalization, transparency, and efficiency.
The position is limited to a fixed term of 2 years.

What you can expect:

* End-to-end responsibility for monitoring the entire production process from order placement to handover to the freight forwarder, ensuring adherence to delivery deadlines, quantity requirements, customer timelines, and inventory targets. This also includes taking decisions on the appropriate mode of transport for all shipments to the warehouses for sample and bulk production.
* Act as a central interface between tier-1 suppliers, finishers, Sales, our contacts in the global markets, Logistics, as well as internal stakeholders such as Quality Management, Procurement, and the Business Units for sample orders. You ensure a smooth flow of information, provide regular updates on production and delivery status, resolve operational issues in day-to-day business, and maintain direct, close contact with our tier-1 partners.
* Actively contribute to supplier evaluations, including the assessment of relevant soft factors such as service level, quality of cooperation, and supplier reliability.
* Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all production activities, including order details, production schedules, quality reports, shipping and supplier information. This includes reviewing and interpreting relevant reports, deriving and implementing appropriate actions, as well as preparing reports on production performance and key metrics where required.
* Review all required transport documents and invoices and independently clarify and resolve any inconsistencies or discrepancies.
* Continuously optimize processes with a strong focus on digitalization, simplification, and efficiency, including the confident use and application of relevant systems and tools (e.g. SAP, Excel).

Your profile:

* Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or a comparable commercial qualification
* Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Purchasing or Production Merchandising, ideally within a textile or apparel environment
* Strong analytical and organizational skills, combined with excellent communication abilities and a confident, assertive working style
* Very good command of Microsoft Excel and practical experience with SAP
* Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage
